Our Indian toran (flags) in blue and gold are 95cm wide each so they’re the perfect width to top the arbour.
SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
Set up is a two person job due to both the lifting during placement of the bolts as well as the balancing that is required to prevent twisting and possibly cracking or breaking of the timber. Please allow 30 minutes although it should take less. It is a good idea to scroll down through the instructions before beginning so you can see what you will end up with, enabling you to better understand the set up process.
Pack down still requires two people and is the reverse of the set up. Please ensure ALL parts of the arbour set are returned to us including the nuts, bolts and spanner.
Provided with the set is the following:
2 x upright frame legs
2 x horizontal posts
6 x nuts
6 x bolts
STEP 1.
Lay everything out with with frame legs sitting perpendicular to the ground. They should balance there. The frame legs and the vertical posts have numbers written on them to match up the correct sides/ends.

Step 2.
Have someone lift one frame leg so you can slide one of the vertical posts under and push the three bolts through. You can then lay it back down on the ground.

Step 3.
Put the corresponding vertical post on top and over the three bolts. Screw on the three nuts but not too tightly at this stage.

Step 4.
Go to the other end and slide the other frame leg between the two vertical posts, push the three bolts through and do up the three nuts. If you don’t have a step ladder, tighten all 6 nuts/bolts with the spanner at this stage (preferably, if you have a step ladder, you can do this once it’s upright after you’ve checked it’s straight).
Step 5.
The frame should look like this. With at least two people, lift the frame at the same speed to prevent twisting, and stand it upright. Ensure it is on stable ground and walk around it to check that it looks straight and square. If you have a step ladder, tighten the 6 nuts/bolts at this point.

Step 6.
The nuts/bolts are generally exposed that the rear of the frame, however if these are useful for wiring your floral arrangements to or hanging fabric from, then you can make that the front side if you wish. Other than this, there is no back/front.
