backdrop… macrame curtain

Macrame curtain backdrop  for hire $100 including stands.
Size is approximately 2.3m high x 2.3m wide

Can be used with our timber arbour

 

 

Macrame curtain set up instructions-

macramé curtain set –	1 x plastic sheet
	5 x rubber bands 1x cotton sheet
	1  x rope tie  1 x curtain and rod DO NOT TAKE CURTAIN OFF OF ROD AT ANY STAGE
	2 x posts with hooks
	2 x metal stands
	2 x hessian stand covers 1 x black box for storage of plastic, sheets, rubber bands etc during use of backdrop

-unroll curtain from plastic, untie wrap sheet and retain ALL packaging – plastic sheet/cotton sheet/rubber bands/rope tie.

-slip hessian covers over stands if desired.

-place post A into stand A (written in black)

-place post B into stand B (written in black)

-place the stands the correct width apart – so that the rod will over hang the hooks by at least 10cm – more is fine, but no less.

-with preferably two people and using a step ladder, place the curtain/rod on each post hook

-for best visual result, manually space the curtain loops evenly along the rod, all the way out to the edges.

– use the black lidded tub provided to store all packaging in during your event.

 

***THE UPRIGHT POSTS ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT LENGTH  BECAUSE THE STANDS ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT INSIDE THE BASE. IF THESE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE ARE FOLLOWED THEN THERE WILL BE NO PROBLEM. DO NOT PLACE ANYTHING INSIDE THE STAND POLES TO ATTEMPT TO EVEN THEM UP. FULL BOND WILL BE RETAINED BY OLD REFINERY IF THIS OCCURS.

DO NOT ALLOW ANY PART TO BECOME WET OR DAMP

DO NOT LET THE LOOPS SLIDE OFF TH ROD

DO NOT LET THE CURTAIN DRAG IN DIRT ETC

DO NOT USE IN HIGH WIND

Upon pack up, the curtain should be laid out on the cotton sheet as pictured below, and carefully rolled back up. Tie the ropes around the rolled bundle to secure the curtain then roll the curtain and posts in the plastic sheet. Secure ends with the rubber bands.
