Hi, I’m Ali – the owner of Old Refinery and also the florist behind my other business – Hey Little Bud Florist. I operate from my home-based studio in the Adelaide hills, offering affordable flowers for weddings and events.
My love for flowers sparked at a young age, thanks to my dear nana who was also a trained florist. I would sit for hours and watch her create incredible floral displays for community and private events. As I grew up, she encouraged me to join in the creative process. So naturally, my first job, was in a florist shop.
Fast forward to today and I have found my niche in wedding floristry. My personal and informative approach aims to simplify the process, optimise your budget, and ensure your flowers are tailored to you. I understand that life is busy, and weddings can be very overwhelming to organise, so I offer great flexibility when it comes to meeting and I am available to contact on many platforms. I source from local stockists and growers where possible and personally select products to ensure the best quality for your big day.
